Last post for 2008

Posted: March 23, 2010 in 2008

Well this completes the pictures from the year 2008.

It was another busy year where I shot with a tonne of models (another year of exactly 50 to be exact).

There is no looking back now…the pix from 2009 are coming up…

An excercise in focus

Posted: March 22, 2010 in 2008

This was an excercise in pulling people’s attention to one thing.

Fade away as much of the face as possible while leaving the key elements highlighted.

It really gained an interesting effect.

Probably one of my fave oddball (non-standard) pix of the year…

Colours and Tongue

Posted: March 21, 2010 in 2008

Shots like this one iconify what I am all about. Fun, sexiness, lots of colours, and just bringing simple ideas into a wicked result.

Nothing like a whole bag of hair elastics to jump start such an idea.

Demon Child

BOO! Did I scare ya?

Figure this looks like one of those Korean creepy movie kids or some kind of screaming banshee.

There are no black contacts or anything, I just darkened the eyes up in editing. Things without eyes are often creepier to look at…like the H.R. Giger monster in the movie Alien.

Too Sexy for this Shot

Posted: March 19, 2010 in 2008

By FAR one of the sexiest pix of 2008.

The sex appeal in her eyes is simply outstanding!

There is something passionate and animalistic in that gaze.

I am grinning ear to ear with how good this whole series (photoshoot turned out).

😀

Do you know how hard it is to find a photo booth in this city these days????? HARD

It’s like a rare dying species.

So I am immensely fortunate to have one 5 minutes from my house.

People, please help preserve these awesome spectacles, don’t vandalise.

Public Indecency

I love shooting in public places! The models don’t always share my enthusiasm for that 😉

In this one we are at a condo complex gym. There weren’t that many people around there on a sunday morning but you could only imagine how funny it would have been to see her on the elliptical 😉

Long live cheerleaders!
